Welcome to the #Wild
Winter Classic
Are you looking for a fun, competitive FEMALE hockey tournament? Let us welcome your team to Windsor.
What is the Windsor Wild?
This Windsor Wild Winter Classic is a minor league female hockey tournament hosted annually in Windsor, ON the first week of January by the SPFHA... what better way to kick off the New Year than a hockey tournament?! This 3 day tournament, hosted this season from January 3rd-5th, 2025, hosts females from U9 (formerly Novice) to U22 (formerly Midget/Intermediate) divisions, helping to promote females in the sport at all levels. As one of the premier OWHA tournaments in Southwestern Ontario, we welcome teams from across the province and are excited to continue welcoming our US neighbours from states including Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois.
Throughout the weekend, our tournament committee is excited to provide all of our players, coaches, parents, and fans a hockey weekend they will not forget. Our mission is to create a fun, competitive atmosphere to celebrate everything girls hockey is. From spirit awards to skills competitions to player swag, this weekend will rejuvenate your enthusiasm in the sport and bring together teams in a way like no other.
